What is TeleMedico
TeleMedico is a Telemedicine company that deliveries health-related services using technologies in the support of patient care, and health education. A patient care encounter involves a clinical expert who is remotely providing expertise to guide the care of the patient.

Are my online sessions kept private?
Absolutely. Online sessions are completely secure using HIPPA-compliant security measures. Confidentiality is our utmost priority.
How will my online session work?
At your scheduled appointment time you simply log in. Your provider will also log in and your session will begin on time. No sitting in traffic on the way to an office and no waiting room!
You will see each other face-to-face on your computer or laptop screen and carry on your conversation just as you would in the office. We find that you will be much more relaxed in your own setting, and without the stress of traveling.
Can I talk with the same provider each time?
Of course! Success comes from establishing a relationship of comfort and continuous care. You can easily schedule sessions with the same provider as often as you mutually decide to build a productive and progressive plan of support.
Is telemedicine reimbursable?
By law, telemedicine services are currently reimbursable through Medicare and Medicaid in over forty states. There are 23 states that have legislation requiring commercial insurance to reimburse for telehealth. Every state has different laws, regulation, and conditions. Is online treatment as effective as in-person treatment? Is this something my clients would use?

How fast does my internet connection need to be to support TeleMedico’s video conferencing sessions?
While TeleMedico’s video software can function effectively at very low bandwidth levels, we recommend that users have 3mbps DOWN and 3mbps UP. You can test your connection before a session by clicking here.
Do I need any special equipment?
No expensive equipment is required to start online sessions. In fact, you probably already have what you need – your computer, webcam, and high-speed internet. If your computer or laptop doesn’t have a webcam, you can easily purchase one online or at your local electronics store for as little as $30.00.
